Weave:

We used cedar bark strips to weave together our clothing. I used the male and female cones to represent both masculine and feminine stereotypes. The English on the outline represents those brought in by colonisation, and the Kwak’wala on the inside is a range of what we could be. Within both of these cones I think it’s important to remember that we weave together traits that make us all individual people.
